Some important facts you need to know before you choose your Search engine
optimization company or an SEO specialist.
If a Search engine
optimization firm has guaranteed you number 1 position on Google, number 1 Yahoo
listing, Top Msn ranking or any other top search engine position then just stop
there.Either it is a Fake Seo specialist or an individual calling himself a
representative of an seo company who will extract hundreds and thousands of
dollars out of you and leave you with a Free for all (FFA), search engine
submission report or get you on a number 1 page ranking for a particular keyword
which no surfer will ever take the effort to type in. It is very imporant to
stay away from such SEO companies that do tricks which might get your site
banned on search engines. People everywhere scramble from gimmick to gimmick,
trick to trick to get to number 1 position for a general search term and
sometimes they even manage to do that – but for how long? One small change at
Google and they are back on page number four, rank number 44. It is therefore
important to follow traditional SEO tweaks along with new and genuine techniques
for website promotion like fresh content for your web or using Rss and
blogs.
Do not do Doorway tricks or Spamming to get a high rank on search
engines like Google.

Keep the links on a given page to a
reasonable number (fewer than 100).
It is impossible to guarantee
rankings. "No one can guarantee a number 1 ranking on Google - Beware of SEO
companies that claim to guarantee rankings, or that claim a special type of
relationship with Google or other search engines. Also note that there is no
priority submit for Google.com. In fact, the only way to submit a site to Google
directly is by using the page at Google.
Submit only once.Your Site Needs
to Be Continually Resubmitted to Get On top and Stay On the Search Engines is
not true. Continually submitting to search engines will not help you in any way.
It is also important to tweak your Webpage and meta tags. If you think meta tags
are old then think again. If you want a decent ranking on the new MSN it is
important that you give attention to your webpage meta tags.
